Vintage NOS Lee Can't Bust 'Em Gold Rooster Label Carpenter Overall

Vintage NOS Lee Can't Bust 'Em Gold Rooster Label Carpenter Overall Circa 1940. Never worn heavy duty overall by Lee the classic jean maker. Nice embroidered "Can't Bust 'Em cloth Union Made Trademark Gold Label" & sweet crowing rooster label on back. Smaller front label is also gold and embroidered "Can't Bust 'Em Union Made". This unusual cream colored Carpenter overall is heavy duty with double fabric quilted knees, a hard to find multi pocket flap in front, Silver Can't Bust 'Em buttons on front and sides, Can't Bust 'Em branded donut buttons for the fly front. It has been stored folded for decades so there seems to be toning and freckling of the areas facing up. They are mainly on the rear right side. The original tiny white paper tag reads ALL COTTON 30 30. I measured across the middle and it is about 16.5" across, inseam 30". The Buddy Lee dolls look cute in bib overalls. A wonderful piece of American workman's gear. I just noticed some minor variations of this model. This rooster is facing right and a little slimmer plus the front nail pouch has two instead of three compartments.  It seems that they made small tweaks on the carpenter bib overall thru the years.
