NIKE 1995 HOME IMPROVEMENT 5th SEASON PROMO MEN'S BLUE DENIM JACKET

Offered for auction a rare "NIKE 1995 HOME IMPROVEMENT 5th SEASON PROMO MEN'S BLUE DENIM TRUCKER STYLE JACKET / SIZE LARGE".  This Jacket is accented with the Home Improvement embroidered Logo on back and was made by NIKE as a promotional piece for cast and crew only (Google search).  It also has the NIKE red swoosh on the left cuff.  It has six decorative silver button closure, (2) chest pockets with button flaps and (2) lower welt pockets.  It also has (2) lower drop pockets on the inside.  The side/back has button tabs to adjust waist size.  The NIKE label and size (L) is attached, however, there is no care instructions or fabric content tag.  NOTE: (As a retired tailor), the Shoulder and Sleeve measurements are based on the 1990's sloping shoulder design, that defies traditional standard tailoring practices and in my opinion is rather tacky.  It lengthens where the shoulder line should be as it extends down the length of the arm.  Nevertheless, Measurements: Armpit to armpit laid flat...25", Top of Collar to bottom hem...27 3/4", Extended Shoulder to Shoulder seam...24 1/2", Waist laid flat...22", Sleeve length from extended sloping shoulder seam to buttoned cuff...22 1/2".  Traditional tailors question the aesthetics of this shoulder style.  This Jacket is in very good pre-owned, used condition with no tears, holes or missing stitches.  The tiny white dot on the right front panel is possibly a fabric dye imperfection.  This Jacket has cross-collectible appeal for NIKE and HOME IMPROVEMENT enthusiasts.  It is clean, odor-free and ready to wear.  Attention should be given to listed measurements to ensure proper fit, as there is no return or refund issued after receiving.
Anecdotal Declaration:
I admit, I have very little familiarity with the "HOME IMPROVEMENT" Sitcom, as I am of an older generation that faithfully watched "GOOD TIMES", "THE JEFFERSONS", "DIFFERENT STROKES", "DEPUTY DAWG CARTOONS" and of course "SOUL TRAIN" on my 13" TV, which I still use exclusively.  I recently read that the "HOME IMPROVEMENT" Sitcom was one of the most successful sitcoms in the United States during its airing and extremely popular among its faithful followers, until it ended in 1999.  To quote: "JEAN BRODIE" (Maggie Smith) in the movie "THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE"..."For those who like that sort of thing, that is the sort of thing they like".  I guess that even applies to extended sloping shoulders. LOL.
