Unusual Jean Pouyat Limoges JPL France Hand Painted Gold Gilt Plate. This beautiful hand painted plate features violets entwined with green leaves, trimmed in gold gilt. Gold is in very good vintage condition as is the plate. No chips, cracks or crazing. Measures 8” in diameter. Note the Stouffer Studios mark. Stouffer Studios was based in Chicago, IL in the early 1900s. They purchased pieces from the Limoges region in France to hand decorate thereby turning each into a little work of art.  Beautiful!
