This workbook includes a wonderful selection of reproduced paper sewing accessories taken from Jean's antique sewing books, manuals, postcards, trade cards, etc. all having to do with sewing from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Suitable to display in a sewing room, with antique or vintage dolls, or as decor in a vintage setting. Easy to cut out with lots of instructions for how to and use. This super project includes fabulous graphics from my antique paper collection all geared to creating wonderful sewing accessories, kits and for framing to display in your sewing room. Complete instructions and all requirements included to complete a wonderful sewing set. This project works with both reproduction and antique dolls! My workbook includes the following: Over 90 images taken from my antique paper collection. Graphics laid out to form a sewing set box to contain all the smaller button cards, needle packets, spools using included labels, thread boxes and pattern covers. An early Chalmers buttons give away card with a game using buttons for you to make. An iron on transfer for "Snuffy" a pin cushion doll for you to make and the cardstock graphic that he would have come on. Old children's sewing machine box lid graphics (3) and instructions. You can build or find a box to house your old toy machine(s) and use these graphics to cover it reproducing the old boxes Covers from 12 old children's sewing sets. These are suitable for framing or for using as box covers to make your own sets. Lots of images from old trade cards of children sewing for their dolls. Complete instructions for all projects What you will need to supply to complete projects in my workbook: Matts and frames if you chose to frame the images White or cream cotton fabric onto which you will iron on the included transfer Fabric scissors, sewing needle and thread to put "Snuffy" together plus stuffing. 6 two holed pearl buttons plus thread to assemble the button game on the included card. Scissors and glue to cut out and assemble many of the little sewing items. Boxes on to which you could glue images to create sewing sets or sewing machine boxes. All printing is done on a commercial digital state of the art color laser printer on either 110 lb. card stock or parchement paper. Shipping is FREE on my store paper projects in the USA and I ship by USPS Priority Flat rate envelopes. International shipping rate is $33.95 and I deduct $5.95 from this for foreign orders to pay shipping in the amount of $28.00 only. Usually two workbooks to four projects will fit in one envelope.
